President and Owner of USBedBugs.com, Adam Greeenberg, will be attending the 2nd Annual EPA National Bed Bug Summit held on Feb 1-2 in Wahington DC. Adam hopes to gain valuable new information on controlling the bed bug epidemic. The summit will address the current bed bug problem and discuss next steps.This year's summit it titled Advancing Towards Solutions to the Bed Bug Problem and takes place at the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center. The goal of the summit it help find solutions to the nation's bed bug problem. Since the last year's summit the EPA has helped organize the Federal Bed Bug Workgroup which consists of EPA, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Argriculture, Department of Defense, Department of Commerce and National Health Institute. The agenda will feature discussions on progress since the last summit and the views of various federal, state, research, housing industry, and pest management industry. Their will also be discussions around identifying knowledge gaps and barriers to effective community-wide bed bug control, proposals for next steps in addressing knowledge gaps and eliminating barriers, and developing a framework for addressing the highest priority needs.
