TVF Pest Control was fined $860,000 by the State department of Environmental Protection for misuse of hazardous pesticides to control bed bugs in dozens of homes in New Jersey. TVF used the chemicals malathion and carbaryl, which is deemed inappropriate for indoor use. The DEP is also seeking to permanently revoke TVP's business license.
