Jean,
It doesn't matter anymore if you are in Europe or the US, or if you are in a five-star hotel or one-star hotel. All hotels are affected by bed bugs these days. It is highly recommended to use some of our travel tools like BugZip luggage protectors along with BB Alert passive monitors when you travel and you should also have encasements and monitors at home for early detection in case of a problem.

can you see bed bugs, what does the bite looks like. can you tell if the bugs crawls on you.
USBedBugs Date 2/3/2011 2:52:11 PM
Yes, you can see bed bugs if you know where to look and what to look for. However, they are usually hiding in cracks and crevices so they are hard to find in most cases. Bites will vary from no reaction to a bad rash so tehre is no way to confirm a bite is from bed bugs. You need to be find a live bed bug or other bed bug signs to know for sure. A good place for basic info is http://bedbugger.com/faqs/ or the Bed Bug Beware Book we sell on our site.
